a scene drawn in pen and colored with some desaturated oranges and browns. it depicts the aftermath of a fight between some bugs and a larger, worm-like creature. The worm body stretches limply across the scene so we only see a fraction of it, but it has many cuts and punctures in its exoskeleton. There are also numerous pins still stuck in between the segments, and there's a larger hollow-headed spear that was stuck in but has fallen out. Clinging to the shaft of the spear is a severed arm. There is also the corpse of a mantis crushed under the bulk of the beast's body. Rosaries and blades and rocks are scattered over the ground.

There are finer thin lines in bone white beneath the thick blue lines. At the wrist, the thick blue lines end in strands of thick thread, hanging over the edge of the linen.

It's done!!! 30 days of #Nudivember. 30 glorious nudibranchs. One tired artist.

A drawing of a creature known as a moorscrag. On the left is the full-sized adult creature that resembles an eldritch stork. It is tall, covered in matted brown-grey feathers and has bald patches down its front. Hanging from the front are six backwards-facing taloned limbs. Its head is long and narrow with no eyes and a striking red bump at the base of the beak. The beak itself is covered in rows of thin teeth. At its feet is the comparatively smaller chick. It has the same limbs as the adult only much smaller and the fur is soft and purple-ish. On the right of the image are drawings of the adult and chick moorscrag with their mouths open, exposing the strange patterns on the interior of the beak that resemble sets of white eyes with red sclera.

What's that ominous shadow stalking through the fog on the moors? Why, it's the moorscrag!

Named for its preference for hunting on the moors at dusk & dawn, especially during foggy days, the moorscrag's weapon of choice are those gangly talons that can strangle its prey to death.
