Rather than simplistic β€œlet’s ruin the lives of those 8 Senators”, here’s a more intelligent deep dive in to the nuance and facts of the situation

Wonderful summary and thoughts on the situation. Puts things in perspective and the reasoning behind the votes of the 8 democrats . Many commenting here either didn’t read Heather’s piece, or didn’t understand it.

What is most maddening, and dangerous, is when the bended-knee media fails to accurately describe, correctly label, and investigate the actions of an authoritarian administration. Rather, cowardly choosing to both/sides or soften the truth of what is happening. All while Rome burns

Don’t blame the left for US antisemitism [FREE TO READ] The anti-Jewish threat in America today comes largely from the right

I like this idea. Does Peacock NBCBoston allow recording or game replay…. or only live tv?

Nah, Mookie has been a key part of 3 championship teams (going on 4). Future HOF, amazing defensive versatility and an .809 postseason OPS. The guy is a winner. Trying to downplay that is weak

Bari Weiss is a weird and worrisome choice as top editor for CBS News | Margaret Sullivan When Weiss was named editor-in-chief, it was the latest turn in the network’s confounding departure from its roots

I agree that it’s a great newspaper. My favorite. The cost to access all content, digitally….. is SUBSTANTIALLY more than any other news source. Not even close to being affordable or justifiable for me. A news source for the rich in my opinion which is sad

Paying a substantial amount to be a β€œstandard subscriber” and not having access to all of the content unless paying much more to β€œupgrade to premium” is a terrible business model and why I cancelled FT. Sorry

Venezuela is Trump’s useful enemy Despite the president’s claims, the South American country is nowhere close to being the US’s biggest drug supplier

"None β€” repeat none β€” of America’s fentanyl has been found to originate from Venezuela. Yet Trump and Pete Hegseth, his compulsively strutting β€œsecretary of war”, insist that the country is fuelling America’s opioid epidemic." Me on Trump's wag the dog script. www.ft.com/content/5b3e...

Kimmel blackout is what happens when your TV isn’t locally sourced When most Americans weren't looking, a handful of companies seized control over what you see on your local TV channels.

Folks had no idea who owns their local TV stations - until large, faceless corporations, Sinclair and Nexstar, said they can't watch Jimmy Kimmel because of politics

This is why they've been warning us: media consolidation is a threat to democracy. My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/jimm...

My experience is the opposite. After using the reMarkable for a couple of years I now know where every note and every project are; can search them by tags, transcribe to text if needed, and share seamlessly. And no longer have paper notebooks everywhere

Based on my experiences I disagree. I also tried both and the writing experience, user-friendly features, design, and functionality of the reMarkable were vastly superior for me
