Prior to the multi-day outage for my neighbor, I had two nearly 24-hour outages from PG&E less than 6 months apart. If I didn't have some on-site portable battery storage, 2X loss of fridge contents.

PG&E unreliability in northern California was a significant factor in me deciding to get a solar + battery system installed in the bay area last year. My neighbors one street after were w/o power for about a week a previous summer due to PG&E equip failures after a localized wild fire in park.

I first heard of this piece of American history via that podcast episode. I don't recall the information plaques at Manzanar describing this situation either.

I would be content with a "The Art of Star Wars: Andor" book, similar to what was done for "The Mandalorian."

Watching through Andor season two and imagining a future companion book "The Andor Guide to Business" with chapters like:

"Get the people you need when you need them" by Luthen Rael

"Sir, looking at your drivers license, you know you are now old enough to buy actual beer." ;-)

New experience today at the grocery store, getting carded when trying to buy _non-alcoholic_ beer. The situation was resolved _without_ the need to show id.
