My friend purchased a book to help ADHDers establish successful routines. She used it for a few weeks and had tremendous success....but then she lost the book 😅

It's hilarious to me how ADHD thwarts all attempts to put successful routines in place to work around the problems stemming from ADHD in the first place.

Example:
Making a to-do list so I don't forget...then subsequently losing the list or forgetting where I put it.

When I take my Adderall and wash it down with my iced coffee, I like to pretend that I'm the guy from Limitless.

I am noticing that the people who have commented or quote posted as fitting in category 1 often cite anxiety/paranoia 😅🤣

This is how my boyfriend plays as well. (I'm #2.) He will watch YouTube videos with ending reveals of video games so that he can choose the ideal outcome.

Ooh! I haven't played the Baulder's Gate games yet but I've heard they're amazing.

I'm the same way! But I feel like I'm cheating myself out of having an immersive experience if I look up all the outcomes ahead of time.

Which type of gamer are you...

Any of my ADHD peeps have task initiation tips/strategies? I am really struggling with getting stuff done at work unless someone (besides myself) gives me a deadline.

(And yes, this post is one of many distractions I'm giving myself to avoid doing the task I'm supposed to do.)

Okay...i know it has taken me awhile but I just finished Silver Sparrow. I fully understand why this book angered you & I felt the same way. Unfortunately, I was not shocked by how James acted in the end. Just a crappy situation all around but I liked that Dana seemed to be content in the epilogue.

Yessss. I was just driving through a very nice neighborhood with newer homes and telling my boyfriend that it was sad how the front of the houses are 90% garage.
