Re-Watching Red Clover (2012)!

It always seemed odd to me that you would go looking for 4-leaf clovers, & if you found one, you'd pick it and have good luck. It seems like picking it would kill the luck. Instead, dig it up with a huge clump of dirt, then transplant in your yard. Good luck forever!

It's important to teach your children to respect wild animals and regardless of how cute they are, it is never acceptable to 'boop' them on the nose! This action puts them in harms way. They shouldn't do this with zombie animals either, it's not only gross, but dangerous & infectious!

Re-Watching Tammy and the T-Rex (1994)!

As a person who dated a bit in High School, I too have a laundry list of reasons not to date in High School, but nothing on the list has to do with brain transplants, robotic dinosaurs, or jungle cats, which is either lucky, or my experience was very limited!

Re-Watching You Might Be the Killer (2018)!

When there is a murderer running around & someone suggests that you could be the killer. It makes you wonder what the person sees in you that could make them think that. Are you violent, aggressive, or a look that scream killer? Or are you just sloppy!

Re-Watching Urban Legends: Bloody Mary (2005)!

I don't know how young is too young, but we need to start educating our children about safe pranks. Pranks can be funny even when there's not the possibility of death. There is actually a pretty thick line between funny & assault leading to jail time!

Re-Watching Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000)!

I've always thought that film schools should have a major in the type of film you want to make or in a specific background role. You could be a Key Grip Major, graduated with honors in the field of sound mixing & a BA in Clapper Loading is a free ticket!

My kids are way too old to be freaked out by anything at Spirit Halloween...but take the same item and put it in their closet and turn it on at about 1:00am, they'll be screaming about it for days & have nightmares galore! Meanwhile, my wife is terrified by the amount I spent on those memories!

Just watched Amityville in the Hood (2021)! A gang uses the Amityville House as a place to grow pot and then ships the cursed weed to Compton for distribution! The tripweed turns those who smoke it into possessed zombies! A burned-out detective tries to stop the drugs flow & the Evil!

Re-Watching Urban Legend (1998)!

When a killer starts using deadly folklore as inspiration for their murder spree, we should be grateful they don't tackle trickle down economics...The killer would damage far more lives, although it would admittingly not as interesting to watch as violent deaths.

Re-Watching Dreamcatcher (2003)!

I wouldn't be surprised if we're secretly fighting aliens every day & the powers that be keep that information from us. The idea that aliens exist is too much for average human. Plus, they likely initially came in peace & the Government chose to attack them anyway!

Re-Watching Kingdom of the Spiders (1977)!

I'm pretty sure if a mound of dirt appeared in my yard swarming with tarantulas, I would not try to take care of it myself...Unless of course, when the powers that be come and decide to study it & not remove it. Then I'd take a swing at it myself!

I find it deeply insulting that a giant crocodile rampages through a U.S. city and doesn't even have the decency to follow the rules of the road! What? Is it a European Crocodile? We need to teach that monster a lesson and move over to the right side of the road! So disrespectful to motorists!

Re-Watching Cello (2005)!

It takes years of training to master playing an instrument, yet one accident to want to forget about that training & a request from a child to want to pick it up again & one ghost to remind you that you don't want to open that can of worms! That's why I took up writing...

Re-Watching Jolly Roger: Massacre At Cutter's Cove (2005)!

Ghost pirates are a highly underused class of ghost that are ripe with stories to explore. Unfortunately, it might be better if as ghosts they don't talk. Pirate lingo is kind of frozen in time and often seems comical in modern times.

Vampires can call it what they want, blood farming or blood harvesting, but there likely hasn't been an actual vampire farmer for centuries! Human blood factories would be more like a winery. Once a human is hooked up, all vampires need to do is label the bottles with blood type and age!

My favorite Wes Craven movie!

Wish I knew...I bought a copy years ago. I still don't trust streaming...

Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes (1989)

I've always wanted that ugly old lamp!

It takes place in Amityville and there is an evil. But there isn't much more tying it to the original movies.

Many are streaming somewhere...but I actually own the ones I'm watching. Just in case they take them down...

They are definitely a hodge-podge. Every so often one comes along that is pretty decent, but then you need to medicine to get through some. The original and the first 7 sequels are a safe start. They were true sequels, not simply tacking on the name Amityville.

Don't give them any ideas...I'm having enough trouble trying to keep up as it is!
