Back with more Aiden art, yay!! I started the lineart yesterday afternoon, this was made without references Originally it was going to be somber. As I listened to one of Ruelle’s songs while finishing this up though, I got inspired. The tone changed to something hopeful! ————— Things can get bleak, the shadows of despair and hopelessness attempt to engulf you in its arms. But you look upward toward the sky and you’ll find the light is always shining down one way or another, waiting for you to notice its glow. 💚

TW | Near death, drunk driving, trauma and severe depression. Context : Aiden [orange] was struck by a drunk driver in 2024, got a severe concussion as a result from hitting the road upon impact additionally his right ear broke permanently, among other scarring. Barely surviving, he fell into a coma induced from the concussion. When he awoke, it was noted he may have amnesia but it would likely go away after a little bit. Only it never did, he was diagnosed with permanent amnesia—any memories he shared with his family prior to the accident, is gone—. And nothing can bring those memories back. His relationship with his adoptive brother crumbled, and the past they share is now lost to history. Aiden had undergone further trauma in late 2025, which nearly resulted in him jumping off the hospital balcony. Fast forward through that, he’s slowly recovering. Juniper has to let those memories of Aiden he remembers, go. If he’s to have a relationship with him. It’s painful for both of them, but they can be brothers again, in time. Symbolism : Those were the bracelets Juniper made for the both of them, on Aiden’s birthday when they’d been kids. Juniper made the bracelets as way of showing they’ll be best friends forever. Aiden wore them up until the point he was hit. Afterwards, Aiden broke his bracelet. As a way of pushing Juniper away—which to him at the time, was a complete stranger—. Juniper had to let his own bracelet go, finally coming to terms with the reality they’re both faced with. The two figures in the background was them prior to all this. I made them hard to see as a way of visualizing how it feels in Aiden’s perspective. He’s heard of what his past was like, even saw videos of his childhood. But he doesn’t feel emotional, it’s like watching someone else’s life. Someone who looked similar to him. Essentially that and the bracelets symbolize the death of their past. TW: mentions of death, eating disorders and trauma In a condensed summary: They had an unhealthy relationship growing up after losing their parents to a senseless crime outside their home. Zane had to be more of a father to her than a brother which resulted in future problems with each-other. It spawned an unhealthy co-dependency on her brother, a toxic bond that initially started off healthy before the death of their parents. Even when they had been adopted, Melody had clung to him. Zane himself, who didn’t give much thought on his mental health, only got worse. The trauma that was never addressed, and with the pain of his childhood forcing him to grow up, played into the inevitable. He unknowingly got distant, hanging with his sister less. After a slew of events which made his mental health worse, Zane finally made a big decision. When he left Virginia behind in June, 2024 to go to Maine and live with his best friend, he also left his sister—and that was the final thing that burnt apart what remained of their decaying relationship. She grew to dislike him as a result, feeling abandoned. Zane got mentally and physically healthier, overcoming his eating disorder and his then severe anorexia after a near death experience. He also ended up finding his own family in that of his friends and in his partner/best friend, Aero. My idea is that, they soar higher apart than when together. There’s too much strain and painful memories for the both of them to reunite and rebuild a healthy relationship. For their own good, they are healthier apart. Melody needs to find herself, Zane already has. Regardless, even if he’s healthy and happy with the family he’s made. Not a day goes by when he doesn’t miss his little sister. I worked on this before I went to bed at midnight lol This took me roughly an hour and 20+ minutes I believe? For a quick bust with no references, it doesn’t look too bad! Added a bow tie to give his fashion more diversity 💚 You may be noticing it a bit already, but I’ve been experimenting/refining my style. The faces are drawn differently, with that said. Some artworks I may make now or later, will appear a bit different. That one Zane drawing is a big example! Drawn August 13th, more art between these two. This was the second attack from the Discord server AF I’m in. Doing this full body without references was certainly a little challenging, I think it didn’t turn out too bad though! The idea for the art came out of nowhere while drawing Zane knows how to bake and is learning how to cook. Of course, he makes his boyfriend chocolate cake every now and then as a surprise. It’s one of his favorite foods after all! 🫶

I didn’t want this to look like an icon so I added in dialogue, the person talking to him is his partner, Cabbage Bailey [owned by AncientDrawings]. I’ve drawn Anthony looking shy a lot, I don’t want him to always look like: “😅” lol

Since he was collecting dust, I went ahead and made him my character June of this year. Funnily enough, that’s exactly what happened with Juniper & Aiden last year lol I designed them, intended for them to be adopted. But no-one wanted them so I removed them from being adopted and the rest is history

I finished this just now! Drew a handful of poses last night by using the circular ruler as a guideline for the body. This is the result of using one of them. I did end up changing the pose as the original didn’t exactly make sense lol, it was more of a guideline for me than a base. I actually loved how this came out. My boy Kurt deserves more solo art 🫶

I don’t think I ever mentioned or showed him on here- He’s one of my first character designs and was in my first batch of ocs. His full name is Jayce Kendrick, and he’s best friends with Luka Hartley & Lanter Thornton (Jayce & Luka are shorthair cats while Lanter is a canine/dhole) Has knowledge of Kung-Fu

His full name is Dynan Natian. And so far, my only deer oc! This guy has had quite a history, he started off as a Sonic/Star Wars hybrid OC in 2022. (An Echidna/Nautolan [Star Wars alien] hybrid), I was hyper fixated on the two ips at the time so I went a little over the top lol Dynan is the first and so far only fandom character of mine who has been reimagined as an anthro. The ocs share the same name, mostly the same colors as well as some personality traits. He’s broody, reserved and doesn’t quite trust others. I created the anthro version in May, 2024. Drew him only once then tried selling him for art and even for free. After months of no-one wanting him, I started to feel bad. I ended up putting him out of sale and kept him. He’s in his 20s. (Like most my OCs 😭)
