Alongside art block, I have been adopting new characters I have eight new characters via adopting them as freebies or WTA [Write to Adopt] on TH! My intentions for these new guys are for them to be a found family, adopted characters who forge their own adopted family. I’m working on developing them! Hopefully, I get more motivation for drawing 😭

He had a tattoo done of three ice cubes to match with his fur color—which is an ice blue bordering on white—when he became of legal age to get a tattoo. It’d been a design he’d wanted for years. And tattooed lining across his bottom paws, to complement the other tattoo. —————— DOB: February 10th, 2003. Only a day older than Grayson. He has natural blonde hair. Coleson Harlow much like Grayson Porter, has been born and raised in Virginia. He arrived to Cedar Willows when he was seven, and it’s from there that he’d meet Grayson and become friends with him. Coleson enjoys the cold weather, and has a fascination with the formation of ice and crystal structures. His favorite season is of course Winter. Virginia isn’t consistent with snowfalls, snow on Christmas is rare here. While heavily disappointing, the snow tends to become a possibility January & February. It’s a bonus if it’s February as he enjoys celebrating his birthday playing in the snow with his best friend. These two can be goofballs, and they tend to enjoy the little things. These two care about one another, Grayson loves to surprise them with gifts. Valentines chocolate boxes, Easter baskets, Halloween bag of candy, Christmas presents, etc. They tend to joke a lot about romance, not taking it seriously. They’re comfortable with each-other and have become well versed in each-other’s boundaries. Like his best friend, Coleson is also part of the lgbtq+ community. Though he’s not as open about it. Coleson’s fur is thick, though he’s not a full angora rabbit he is a mix of one. As a result, while his fur isn’t noticeable as being long or overgrown, it’s a heavily coated layer of fur. This keeps him warmer during fall and winter than Grayson, and he can tolerate harsher temperatures—within reason— He doesn’t need heavy jackets or thermal pants. This is a WIP :)

Grayson Porter | Species: Mixed-Ear Rabbit Born February 11th, 2003 Height: 5’10 Weight: 195+lbs Facts: He is native to Virginia, and has not moved away from the Commonwealth. However, he has moved inside Virginia. Originally hailing from the oceanfront—Virginia Beach; which in this world was given the name Shells Harbor—, Grayson moved as his parents wanted to settle in a more affordable location. Cedar Willows ended up being the home Grayson grew up since the age of nine. His necklace is commonly mistaken for a seashell, but it’s actually a cinnamon roll. His sister made it for him when they’d been kids, as she caught on it’d been one of his favorite foods. It’s something he cherishes and wears with pride. He paints his claws orange to match with his eyes and nose. Sometimes he’ll paint them blue as it’s complimentary. He is pansexual and open about it. In fact, Mr. Grayson has attended lgbtq+ events in Virginia. Not exclusively in just Cedar Willows, he has sold out personalized pins to the citizens who attend these events. He creates these pins in his downtime. Giving a little bit to the community when he’s able. He is considered a little stocky in body frame Stands at 5’10. And is the tallest member of his family, only after his mother who stands at 5’9. His sister is 4’2, and father is 4’0. Grayson loves to wear sweaters, preferably ones that don’t make him feel itchy through his fur. He appreciates ugly sweater gifts. During spring and summer, he enjoys wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts. Sometimes donning a plain colored baseball cap to shield his eyes from the sun. Both characters were freebies on TH!!

He originally had heterochromia, which was two different colored eyes; blue & yellow. TW: hate crime / abuse!! ________ ________ ________ Solstice was jumped by two male felines after he left his work during the night. A few years younger than him, pinned by the second, the first extended his claws out and called his eyes a “monstrosity”. Despite his attempts to fight them, he’d been overpowered and the result was his right eye being clawed into, immediately blinding him. As he reeled from his injuries, the felines escaped. Their sloppiness of the crime, had them caught by a nearby surveillance camera. They’d later be arrested. The first one charged with assault in the first degree and hate crime, the second being charged as an accomplice. The attack was targeted beyond just the heterochromia, and it’s to due with his species. Hate crimes are rare in this city, so it’d been a shock to many of the locals. ———— Solstice has gotten a little prejudice against felines. Even his feline friends, he’s become a little uncomfortable with. He harbors no hate towards felines as a whole and understands the minority is not the majority. But his trauma and bitterness from losing half his vision, does not help him to better rationalize his line of thinking. His hate and apathy is reserved for the felines who jumped him. Solstice originally had natural white hair, he dyed it to a blondish color. He refused to have his right eye removed, hating the idea of wearing a fake eye or an eyepatch. Solstice is the first character of mine who is blinded in one eye. Since the crime, his personality has shifted. Barely humorous and less friendly. (This took place sometime during the 2020s)

Jayce Kendrick Born August 21st, 2003 He is bffs with Luka & Lanter. Both of whom he sees as his brothers. One, is officially his adoptive brother. Lanter’s mother passed away through natural causes, and with his mom’s former friendship with the Kendrick’s, she entrusted in them to adopt him and raise him. So he didn’t get placed in foster care or lose the friends he’s so close with. Sharing the same roof, Jayce got accustomed to the change. Jayce embraces his Hispanic Heritage, loves to give to his friends and family, is close with both his parents.  He is fluent in both English & Spanish.   Jayce doesn’t let his bi-polar stop him from enjoying life, he’s had behavioral therapy while growing up and has found many ways of coping with irritation and anger. Though he does have outbursts depending on how far he’s pushed.  He loves ninja and martial arts movies, it’s partially what inspired him to pursue Kung Fu. A way to help vent out anger in a healthier way, and learning self-control. Casey Rupert | Born September 23rd, 1997 in Indianapolis. He is one who has known Dobey since before he went into the dangerous world of cage fighting. Before the scars and bruises he received in his fights. Adamantly against it from the beginning, Casey has been left only on deaf ears. A part of him understands that for Dobey, this seems the only logical way for him to get fast money to float by in this world. It solves two problems for him; finances and respect. He hadn’t supported his friend’s career, staying away from it as even though Dobey is an accomplished fighter, he hates to see him get injured. Casey can’t understand that Dobey is so willing to sacrifice his health and wellbeing for said cash and respect. When he has someone in his life who cares about him and wants him to be okay. It frustrates him how he just laughs it off and ignores the long term effect it’ll have. A bent snout was bad enough, scarring around his eyes? How close he was to being permanently blinded and he scoffs it off like no big deal. He’s not going to fall for someone who’s going to end up six feet under in the near future. Stuck between the worst-case scenarios, Casey pulls away from Dobey. Unable to process the downward spiral Dobey’s life may be heading. Casey finds himself on the East Coast. He got plenty of messages from Dobey, In truth, he hated Indianapolis. He primarily blames it for what it turned Dobey into, and he blames his family. His crush on Dobey died out,. Their personalities would have only further clashed, and not in a good way. This allowed Casey to separate from his bias attachment, and see that the friendship was declining for years up until now. It’s too late to fix it. All he wants now, is to live his life and not worry about someone else’s every day. The choice wasn’t easy, it hurt him. Eventually he cut all contact with Dobey, and moved on. Happy to be somewhere refreshing, Casey tries to be positive and look to the stars.

Kurt Robyn | Born September 20th, 2000. Found abandoned by a couple, infant Kurt was taken in by the Robyn’s and named. Loved unconditionally, and considered a blessing to his mom and dad, Kurt grew up to be an outgoing, down to earth and sweet person. Kurt had undergone laser eye surgery in an attempt to see without needing glasses or contacts. Thanks to his parents catching his poor vision early on, wearing prescription lenses since he was a child and with better procedures as options, his vision was successfully corrected. He keeps his glasses stored away as a reminder of his past. Being a fruit bat, he’s one of the few species in the world who is able to naturally fly. He is a freelance photographer who works alongside investigative journalist, Bruce Everhart. From there, their partnership grew to friendship and later into a different kind of partnership; a couple. Kurt adores the autumn season. It’s his favorite season and time of year! He has ADHD. He is Chinese-American, Kurt has no knowledge about his biological parents. And given they never searched for him, he doesn’t want to know who they are. The Robyn’s are his family. Kurt’s hands are different from other species. He has claws on his feet but not on his hands. His fingers are pointed, soft to the touch for the most part except for the tips of his fingers. He loves to sleep a lot of the time, perching upside down on the ceiling. Wrapped in his own wings. He mainly dos this when he feels discomfort or is upset. Cocooning himself is a soothing mechanism to him. Kurt is Panromantic.

Aiden Wyatt Born August 23rd, 2000 From his earliest childhood memories to the day of October 8th, 2024. Aiden’s life as he knew it, was stripped away. Memories of his family and any person he’s ever known since before 2025, was forcefully taken him from because of a drunk driver. But his life didn’t truly begin until 2026. Through his initial friendship with his nurse, Turnip Snip. After winning in court against the hospital who mistreated him and many others, it was the first time he’s felt something other than agony, hatred and hopelessness. It was through his second fight for survival, that Aiden reconnected with his former friends and family. The journey to a new world was hard and met with trials every which way. And as corny it might sound, Aiden braved the unknown. Despite the reality of his old memories forever lost to him, Aiden has chosen on his own that he’d like to restart his friendships and his relationship with his brother. His life has taken a drastic shift due to the actions of careless and horrible men. Resulting in heavy distrust over old men, and in hate towards alcohol. Aiden is autistic, which is amplified as a result of his injuries. Due to his pain, and phantom pain in his broken right ear, he’s on multiple prescribed medications. His body has adjusted to the physical change, and he’s had time to find himself and move forward in his life. —————- He is Hispanic-American Aiden & Juniper are getting close again. Self-conscious of his scars, he wears socks and shoes and typically pants to hide the scars on his feet and legs. It’s a comfort thing, mainly to have some control over how he looks. His red hair faded a lot during the stress he went under. Since the victory of court, Aiden asked Juniper if he could help dye his hair deep red like it used to be. Aiden takes care of his scars, uses ointment when it starts to dry up. His scars have faded a bit since 2025 as a result. He hates feeling isolated and prefers company.

Originally this was going to be Zane, but he’s an obvious choice for me lol Random Fact: I’ve given my each of my goth characters a color theme for their aesthetic. Zane (former goth) was red themed Addison is blue themed Malia is purple themed And Alexander is green themed. If I were to have a new one, it’d be orange themed or a dark red. (Replacing Zane)

Dustin Bennett & Everly Halen are best friends, they view each-other as brothers. Having originally known each-other briefly in high school, they connected a little bit after graduation. Years pass of being friends and Dustin now views Everly as his family. The brother/sibling he never had. For Everly, he has his older sister, Sylvie. He never thought what it would have been like to have a brother until he became close with Dustin. Then it clicked. They care about and love one another platonically. Everly is a year younger, having been born in ‘03.

Despite his rough appearance, Dobey continues with his life unbothered by it. Dobey is not a friendly guy, and he couldn’t be farther from being sweet. What you see is essentially what you get. Shockingly, Dobey has managed to evade losing any of his teeth and narrowly avoided being blinded in both eyes. Derek Ellington Species: Fox Born Nov 23rd, 1999 in London He has dual citizenship in the U.K and U.S. His parents loved to travel across the world and decided to relocate to Virginia after adopting two children. His parents passed away when he was in his late teens and he ended up having to raise his younger siblings; Newton & Renee. As well as taking on Newton’s then best friend. Blake. His remaining teen years and early adulthood had been spent exhausting himself to make sure his siblings and Blake, were taken care of. It put a lot of stress on him. Having made a friend during a vacation to Maine, Derek would find something to ease that stress off. It gave him something to look forward to, his friendship with Kale Allan—owned by AncientDrawings—blossomed to best friends within a couple of years. And the two found themselves romantically attracted to each-other With both his siblings being adults and independent, and wanting to focus on his life, Derek moved out of his house and moved to Maine to live with Kale in his house. Drawn September 7th! In 2023, I wanted to make a spider anthro so I used F2U bases of jumping spiders to design him. I had him until early 2024, where I lost attachment to him because he was too complex for me to draw at the time and I didn’t like the color palette I chose for him. I gave him away to my friend to do whatever with on TH Fast forward, my friend lost connection with him and put him up to be sold. And throughout the whole time, no-one took an interest, I felt bad because I didn’t want him to just collect dust and be forgotten yk? I asked my friend I’m interested in taking them back so here we are! I think he’s adorable, tweaking his design gave him a glow up compared to before lol Timothy is not connected nor lives in the same word as my other ocs, to clarify
