You know, I find it funny how in the past, I offered to draw artist's OCs for free and they were super eager to have me do it, but now I ask for them to draw something in return to aid something in need and they get cold feet. Strange how selfishness rats itself out these days, huh? 🤔

True! In a way, art is a language that can be used to express yourself in a more universal kind of way. It's like music. In most cases, not a single word is needed to get the idea of what's going on within it.

Many times, artists can fall into the trap of developing HUGE egos and god complexes. None of us are invincible, no matter how good you think you are. The less high and mighty you make yourself out to be, the more approachable you'll become in the long run. Be more down to earth! 😉

I'd like to make it abundantly clear that your ability to draw is a power. Everyone has reasons for why they use it. For me personally, I don't use it for the sake of making friends or becoming popular. I use it because someone or something needed help, to have fun and hopefully bring joy to others.
