I figured lol! After all, the more platforms you're on, the more people you'll reach. There are certain types of individuals who refuse to use or haven't created an account on certain platforms, so you have to go where they are to put your content on the map for them.

This is true! I found over the years that the best thing we can try to do is filter out the negative stuff as much as possible. There has to be a space where folks can experience more joy and happiness and I'd love to meet more creators and people who wish to do so more often.

I created an account here for three reasons; to keep track of creators (game devs, artists, etc.) who abandoned or aren't available on twitter, to have an extra platform to post art, and to seek out new Wonder Boy creations to make sure they weren't being overlooked. That's literally it.

I've come to a realization that Bluesky honestly isn't all that different from twitter. At the end of the day, the people are what makes a platform what it is, and a lot of them are here, too. I didn't come here to be drowned in political warfare and negativity, but everywhere you turn, there it is.

To be honest, I'm not exactly all that interested in making an indie game anymore. The dream game I wanted to create already exists and has for over five years. If you haven't taken any time out to play it by now, chances are you wouldn't be interested in an original project.
