Helga, actually looking rather dapper. That one ear needs a small cleanup. The rest is seemingly not bad.

Getting a bit better at the face trims. She will not tolerate much in the way of electric trimmers very near her face or front paws, so all of that gets a scissor cut.

A little early winter grooming. This time of year I leave the main coat and just trim her legs, feet, butt, underside, and face. This is probably groom 13 now? Something like that? Getting a bit better at it.

Oh, I don't entirely disagree there, but I feel like it's sort of a matter of the ratio between room size, screen size, and how far away the seating is from the screen.

With a good 4k tv and a decent sound system, there isn't much about the theater experience that's better than watching at home these days.

Sadly, even if you completely discount the dating portion of this, it really does seem like it's gotten a lot harder to make meaningful connections and friendships with other men. So many dudes just seem like they're not interested whatsoever. Maybe it's just me being unappealing as a friend? IDK 🤷‍♂️

Turns out, I was their first person to ever not land within the bounds of the airport. I had to climb a barbed wire fence while holding a parachute to get back in the airport...Then trudge my ass across the entire airfield to get back.

It was my first time flying in an airplane.

And I do all that, and I let go of a perfectly good airplane. And I look down and think "where the hell is the airport?" And then, a moment later "where the hell am I landing?"

Which, that plane carries like 4 passengers. And I was the smallest, so I went last. I'm not great with heights, so totally sweating bullets. And it's the kind of thing where you have to crawl out of the plane and hang from the wing strut before you let go.

Again, very much still high at this time.

And true to form, we showed up very high. Like, smoked 3 joints on the drive high. And they wanted to refuse to let us do it, at first. Until we said "no, it's cool, we're not high"... So they let us.

It was a solo static line jump from a Cessna 182 at like 3200 feet.

So I had to tell the story recently of when I went skydiving... so I'll share that here too. Why not?

I need to get back into the game. I'm on Xbox, and I played quite a bit of it, but after a certain point it was just a crash-fest, and I couldn't make any progress. But, maybe it's time to try starting a new play-through.

Honestly, probably not the worst strategy for dealing with Trump. The equivalent of keeping a fussy toddler busy on a car ride by giving them one of those plastic toy steering wheels.

If I may ask, what sort of mods are you using for BG3? Is it mostly for graphics and such? Or other improvements? (I've never looked into them for that game)
