Today I submitted my Mock Viva materials, then went and did some pottery in my weekly class.

In Brussels today for the #EUUK Forum Annual Conference.
With Starter's visit to Brussels yesterday and Brexit's 5 years anniversary last week, it's a stimulating time to reflect on the future of the relationship with representatives from industry and diplomacy.
This is the friendliest, most helpful crowd you could ever find in security studies. Quite literally one of the reasons I didn't drop out of the PhD when I was considering it.

Hi Jamal! The workshop is organized by a European Security working group (but the geographic scope is not necessarily on Europe - we welcome studies on areas other than Europe!). So if your work is linked to security from an environmental perspective, do apply! And yes it's a great space for PhDs!
