Today in class, pupils celebrated #MathsWeekScotland with Folded Nature: Maths in Motion! 🌿✨ They explored maths in the natural world by creating origami animals and plants, discovering shape, symmetry & pattern through fun, hands-on learning. #OrigamiForNature #MathsInMotion

We are looking forward to welcoming our parents and carers to our Promoting Learning Event on Tuesday (30 Sep) 5pm to 7pm. The programme has been emailed to all S1 to S6 parents and parents of P7 pupils with a link to book sessions.

Today, we had a fantastic visit from INEOS!
🔬 S2.1 and S3.1 took part in an exciting STEM workshop, exploring how maths drives innovation and problem-solving in the real world.
💡 A great opportunity to see maths in action. Thank you to INEOS for inspiring our young minds!

🔎 They carried out in-class research on topics like symmetry in leaves, the Fibonacci sequence in plants & patterns in nature.
📝 Pupils presented their findings through illustrations & written explanations, showing just how much maths shapes the world.

Chocolatarium visit where pupils found out about the supply chain of cacao and looked at Fairtrade practices. As part of their visit the students were able to make their own chocolate bar as they were taken through the process of chocolate manufacturing from bean to the finished bar.
