I will agree that that ship is slow to turn but it is turning. The way Israel openly aided the trump campaign in 2024 and their conduct of the response to Oct 7 has made that political alliance unsustainable. Israel is a Republican ally now, not an American ally.

Chuck Schumer is a democrat, yes. A terrible minority leader. And probably the most pro-Israel Dem in the Senate (except Fetterman, who doesn't count).

And even worse, Israel absolutely interfered with the 2024 election in favor of the Rs.

But his is not the median Dem position on this war.

I get not wanting to choose the lesser of two evils or whatever, but abstaining is giving half a vote for the greater of two evils which, morally, is a far worse choice.
