The fungus consists of a short, stout stalk, branching into two semi-open cups. One cup is atop the stalk and opened upwards. The other is on a short branch coming off from the right side of the stalk.
Chlorociboria aeruginascens aka green or blue-green elf cup #fungus. NWT, Canada. About 2cm high. #fungi #fungifriends

Another of my favourite #orchids in the kaleidoscopic range we see during the @mariposanature.bsky.social #OrchidsOfRhodes is Ophrys candica.
It's a really variable species, no two flowers ever quite the same. Every encounter is a lucky dip, one never knows what the next iteration will be.
