The world doesn’t stop when you are displaying and acting in harmful ways, your circle can absolutely tone moderate, be the most receptive people. When I post about how much I miss oxy or lottery tickets, posting those things for months and someone replies they don’t owe me anything like that.

I’ve been medicated for bipolar for a long time and I’m just saying mania is not a time to enable someone especially from financial harm. You remove the risk factors. You encourage help. You address their actions that are hurting other people and their lives bc other people aren’t collateral.

As a 28 year old woman, sw with bipolar 2, autism, and a self admitted gambling addict. Truths are hard, they seem blunt, but if I allow people around me to enable my destructive behaviors and actions I would never be able to self regulate, internally grow, and emotionally mature. It sucks.
