If you keep working to cut out the Bad People, (which you're not, you say, you're comfortably in the top 80%) then one day you'll find you're in the 20% that are Bad People and you need to be shamed and ostracized and isolated so the Good People don't have to associate with you.

Purity culture has no endpoint.

They will never run out of people to cut down.
