These are a few of our favorite pieces of art from Crayontopia. Drawing everything with crayons was extremely challenging, but it was also cool to use them in new ways to try and build an entire world.

Someone asked what the default or "canon" name is for the protag in our game. The answer? Name!
Whenever we talk about them, we always refer to them as "Name", with varying pronunciations of that word. Honestly, it feels like a real name now <3

We initially debated whether to add Steam achievements to our game because we were unsure of the difficulty, but I am SO glad we did in the end.
It's interesting to see which ones people most commonly get and gives some great insight if you have no other stats available.

I've spent many, many hours playtesting our game and I still get hungry at the bakery scenes
We actually tried making strawberry banana bread at one point and it turned out pretty decent!

And here we have Camilla, who owns the local general store.
She's a straightforward gal and appreciates folks who are upfront and honest. When she's not running the store or doing handiwork, she loves to create all sorts of art.
Allow us to introduce Miles, who works in the garden alongside Shelby. He also does repairs around town as needed (say what - repairs in a crayon world??)
He's a pro when it comes to tending to the beautiful Crayontopia wax willows.

Next up is Eleanor, the local seamstress. She loves creating fabulous clothes and is always happy to help folks discover their personal style.
She also loves visiting the farm to care for the beloved Crayontopian sheep - that's where she gets her wool, after all.
Next up is Rowan. He's got those muscled arms for a good reason - he's the town baker!
Rowan loves inviting folks to his bakery for classes on making delicious sweet treats. Just remember - he's very protective of his cat, Hazel.
