Nearly all products sold through Mass, Drug and Food retailers is tracked and mostly used by companies that produce products and retailers. Data is also used by government agencies. The administration may stop buying & sharing. The question is how will information now reach the public.

This is ridiculous. Firms such as Circana (formerly Information Resources, Inc. (IRI)) Scanner provide information to both businesses and government. They can’t hide the inflationary prices. It is readily available.
