More and more helpful features are being added every day. A lot of care and love drive their implementation.

I especially find the table of contents on the README section of the package page very handy :)

Highlight available keyboard shortcuts on "?" in @npmx.dev - from my initial idea we ended being at least 5-6 people involved. If you're looking for a place to do cool/fun/wild/innovative sh!# and learn from talented people, this could be it.

Inspired by the amazing @npmx.dev community, I built a VS Code extension:

Still pre-release. If youโ€™re interested in npm tooling or DX, feel free to check it out.
And if you have ideas about managing npm packages in VS Code, Iโ€™d love to hear them!

I've been working full-time on @npmx.dev for the last week, yet I haven't managed to stay in the top contributors list in our repo. And I couldn't be more excited about it. I've never had this many public and private conversations. So much ahead to foster a great community together. I love it โค๏ธ

Diversity, equity and inclusion I'm in favour of diversity, equity and inclusion in open source communities, and here's why I think it matters.

This is honestly the most insane (in a good way) oss project Iโ€™ve ever seen! People are like, I want this, and then they are encouraged to make it, and then it gets merged, and they make the world a little bit better line by line. Absolutely friggen amazing!

Congrats on this feature btw. Will use

Also representation matters.

One of the reasons I made that very small PR was to increase the visual diversity in the contributors avatars. When I was starting out that stuff really mattered to me. I know @npmx.dev are committed to being welcoming and inclusive to all, so I hope it helps โค๏ธ

We're working today with the newly assembled npmx maintainers and contributors to carve out good spaces in our community for working together. So I don't have time to chase zorro for the weekly #caturday pic. Instead, bumping a photo of his first months attempting to climb his first trees.

With @npmx.dev it's now possible to copy the package name in the top right.
This makes it for example easier to paste package names into a multi package install command

hello everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

... and apologies for the ping, but now seems a good time to talk about what npmx is as an open source project.

it was 8 days ago that I made the first commit, and I had something I was excited about a day later. it was clear to me from [the](https://bsky.app/profile/danielroe.dev/post/3md3cmrg56k2r) [community](https://bsky.app/profile/danielroe.dev/post/3md47mg7qjs22) that it would be big, and I invited patak to join two days later.

it's impossible to believe that it's been less than a week since we started inviting close allies and trusted folk. we're already at 75+ npmx contributors, and around 200 people on the server now, which is an outstanding percentage.

so now seems like a good time to make explicit what 'npmx' is:
we're open-source and for the good of the web
we're a community project, built by all of us

it might be a bit early for it, but patak and I have drafted a governance doc to set out a bit about how we want to steward npmx. it's short but we'll be filling it out more as we go on.

we've also created an opencollective so we can help support the community and hopefully, one day, help other similar projects.

we want to make the experience of using npmjs better for us and for others. and the joy of open source is that we can do that together! I hope it goes without saying, but thank you โค๏ธ

we'd love your thoughts on the document and on the project ๐Ÿ™
