having just finished this moments ago, my mind is still reeling.

ambrose and kodiak managed to simultaneously warm my heart and completely shatter it, and the way this story delved into each iteration of them was handled so perfectly.

i'm just so over YA books being so emotionally devastating. they're written for teenagers, why are they so soul crushing????

and i'm sure the sequel will be great, i just know it's gonna be just as sad and i don't want to put myself through that.

and now i'm debating if i have enough strength left to order the sequel or if i want to wait 1000 years to read it. 😅

just finished part 3 aka version 3 of ambrose and kodiak and i just want to go back to version 2. i hate this so much.

this is the third YA book i've read in the past year that has emotionally destroyed me, and i honestly don't know how much more i can take. 😭

i love having this scene here bc despite all the negativity it has had, it shows how much the "rivalry" has also had a positive impact on their relationship.

It's pretty sexist that everyone assumes "Jack" the Ripper was a man, girls can do anything 🦸‍♀️

i don't think there's a fix for it, unfortunately, but i appreciate the sentiment. 💜
