I was talking with my grandma about the bag I’m making and she pulled out bags and bags of crochet blankets and granny squares she made!!

I got to take 3 blankets home and a bunch of blue squares! Now to decide how to assemble the squares 🥰

So while she’s literally being beaten, SA’d, and abused and rightfully HATES men this dude is like “why she no like me touching her” LIKE YOU DIDNT JUST SEE HER LIVING CONDITIONS

And magically in 3 chapters she’s fine with him touching her with very little effort on his end gaining her trust

He is obsessed and in love prior to ever laying eyes on her.. like fantasizing about this like it’s a “‘meet cute”

70% of the way through and so close to DNF’ing this books… mmc gives me the ick and fmc has a lot of trauma that she magically gets over extremely quickly. Great idea for a book, bad execution.

Also mmc is actively manipulating fmc and it’s on my nerves.. not looking good
