The problem with this app is everyone wants to be a political scientist or sociologist but few people have done the reading. It's a fucked up session of an undergrad lecture course everyday on here

A lot of people epically failed to accept the basic reality that the 2024 election was an election with huge moral stakes and a clear right and wrong answer (for a wide range of reasons). They now are twisting themselves into knots to protect themselves from accepting that moral failing.

I assume that everyone in charge of picking people to play the games during breaks and halftime of NBA games are sadists

What if AI could just do research for us?

What if you just resigned so your position could go to a person from an underrepresented background who actually wants to do the fucking work?

A) As others are pointing out, search tools exist. B) You sound like a horrible researcher. C) Sometimes relevant knowledge to your question exists, but you only find it through reading. Using A.I. completely eliminates this possibility. D) You sound like a horrible researcher.

Think about what cultural and academic output we are cheating ourselves out of by disproportionately giving all of our resources to mediocre ass White dudes

Going back to not discoursing but the psychic damage endured by us constantly telling privileged White guys that it is okay to never be self-reflective, ever in their entire life, is literally driving me insane

People tend to think of functional illiteracy as just being unable to read words aloud or such.

What it *really* means is such as not being able to perceive subtext, context, understand who the audience of something may be, etc.

Media illiteracy is fundamentally part of functional illiteracy.

Think about chuds constantly going "man I used to love this band but they turned woke by putting politics in their songs" and the band is literally Rage Against the Machine or Bruce Springsteen.
