Every few months now I re-read this "Who Goes Nazi?" piece from 1941 and am blown away by how it captures the people we are dealing with 80 years later.

I don't think this is right. For a blackmail threat to work there has to be a credible threat that releasing the info will cause the victim consequences or shame. High-ranking Republicans don't need to worry about either of those things.
