Just to say, we had to make another DNAR decision again. Again we thought of your video. The doctor seemed to sigh with relief when we said we knew the risks and odds of resuscitation, so he didn't need to explain them. And we all came to the same conclusion. So thank you again ❤️.

So happy with how these glass ornaments turned out. I usually make jewellery but now and again I do stuff like this. Handmade glass snowdrop fox and hare plaque ornaments. They'll be available next weekend. Made by me in my glass studio in Staffordshire.

They've chosen this for ideological reasons. There were other ways to sort out finances, and to pick on the vulnerable in society is sickening. They've used a sledgehammer to crack a nut that needed carefully scalpeling.

Needing help to wash your hair or your body below the waist would not meet the new threshold while needing help to wash your upper body would. Needing help going to the lavatory is above the threshold, but needing reminding to go would fall below it. Needing prompting to engage with other people face to face would not meet the new test; needing help to do so would.

Reading The Times report on speculated PIP cuts, I’m struck by not only how many people will lose vital support but how much we are already degraded to qualify. Have a stranger ask you how you wash “below the waist” and then tell us how easy it is to claim disability benefits.

I had a great glass kiln firing with no sacrifices to the Kiln Gods! Some will be made into jewellery, some into ornaments. Once I've done that I will photograph them & make them available. Probably within the next fortnight as I'm knackered & it's only me doing it 😂

I just got trolled by someone telling me to "get a job" because I corrected them on misinformation they were talking about PIP. Shows what the misinformation is doing!

I just got told to "get a job" by a troll because I mentioned I was on PIP on a thread. The sheer joy in telling them I actually had one & was self-employed was fab! 😂

PIP is *not* an out of work benefit, it covers the extra costs that disability brings of which there can be many.

Reducing or taking away PIP is literally going to deprived some people of the means to get to work that they so wish to be done. It's not an out of work benefit. Cutting it is cruel and counterproductive.

Oh I do hope this is the case, as I have a good MP whom I've talked with several times about disability issues. Who got my PIP reduction sorted & tried to do a spoken question for me to Liz Kendall. I know he'd be good in his approach.

If you’re drawn to a politician because they promise to be cruel to Muslims or Jews or immigrants or gays or transgender people etc, the least you should do - the absolute, bare bones, still morally vacuous least - is ask yourself whether they’re likely to stop at the group you want to see targeted.

I'm assuming changes will come on review though, I just had mine thankfully. Tho this time I had to fight. For 10 years I had enhanced mobility. Last review it was reduced to standard! My MP intervened & on MR it went back up. Interesting it happened all of a sudden with change of government!
