Skulks in the undergrowth of seasonally flooded forest and second growth, often near water. The similar Buff-breasted Wren has less strongly marked cheeks and a more complex song. Where the two overlap, Fawn-breasted is more likely to be found in wetter habitats.’

Dans Gabriel Knight 2, la traversée de la forêt au milieu de la nuit m'avait terrorisée quand j'étais petite (à ce moment-là, je n'avais pas encore joué à ce jeu, mais je regardais mon père y jouer (et je l'aidais à résoudre les puzzles)).

Le ton variable des différentes fins me fait penser aux nombreuses mauvaises fins de 428 Shibuya Scramble, qui se montrent tour à tour drôles, décalées et effrayantes, et il y en a même une qui parodie Wizardry. Sur le plan du game design, est-ce que c'est un Visual Novel ?

Photo of wren. Description from ebird: ‘A medium-sized, uniformly-colored wren found in the upper subtropical and temperate zone of the Andes from western Venezuela to extreme northern Peru. Bright rufous-brown overall (brightest in the northern populations) with black lores and indistinct dark barring on wings and tail. Similar to Sharpe’s Wren, but brighter brown and typically found at higher elevations. Occurs from around 2,200-3,800m. Small parties forage in the understory of forest, often around bamboo thickets. Can be skulky and difficult to see well. Sometimes follows mixed-species flocks. Listen for the harsh chattering calls.’

Cette semaine, j'ai sorti un fil sur Rule of Rose, j'y parle surtout de sa création, du fait que le concepteur a été écarté pendant le dév, de l'influence du Clan des Poe de Moto Hagio et de pourquoi une partie du jeu se passe dans un dirigeable, enjoy ! 🌹

Hier soir, j'ai réussi à finir le postgame. Mon temps de jeu final est de 43 heures, 16 minutes et 30 secondes, d'après la Clear Save que le jeu m'a permis d'effectuer une fois l'épilogue et le générique de fin visionnés.

Phantasy Star blended together top-down overland views for travel with 3D dungeons with twisting corridors and passages. It was also a world where magic and swordsmanship existed alongside high technology allowing players to eventually explore the different worlds of the Algol System where the quest takes place in. Phantasy Star is also notable for having a strong female protagonist as the lead, something that was uncommon with console or PC-based RPGs (or games in general) at the time.
