New in #LibreOffice 26.2: When natural sort is enabled in the Sort options dialog, there is an additional option to treat decimal separators as regular characters. This allows sorting IP addresses, for example, even if the locale has a dot as the decimal separator.

OpenOffice's last big update was back in 2014 (it can't even export .docx), and now it has unfixed security issues: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_... – Not sure what distro you're using, but virtually all Linux distros moved years ago to LibreOffice, the actively maintained successor project!

I've happily been using LibreOffice (@libreoffice.bsky.social) for years. No bundled AI, fully compatible with all major file formats, regularly updated, and free.
Note that OpenOffice's last major update was in 2014, and now it has long-term, unfixed security issues so is strongly not recommended for production use: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_... – All development (and Linux distros) moved years ago to LibreOffice, the actively maintained successor project.
