πΆ DUPLICATE MESHES FOR WEIGHT PAINTING
a lil trick i use a lot. this can simplify your workflow for models with many materials, handpainting, or troubleshooting annoying areas like underarms.

If you're porting to Miqo, you'll need to steal ears from another hairstyle. If you're porting to Viera, I recommend importing their ears to make sure there's no gaps underneath.
I'm sure this tip has been shared before but here is a mini tutorial on how to use TexTools as a shortcut in porting hairstyles.

OP, in CSP, instructs you set a layer above your shot to 'Divide' in the layer settings.
OP then says 'Select the color of the BG that you basically want to be white' and then points to the Divide Layer we made and says to fill it.
Wow! All hints of that Divide Layer Color are gone and everything is bright and crisp and white now!
A little tip when you've taken a gpose reference shot or something of that sort on a stage panel and everything is just a littttttle off color because of the housing lighting-

Here's another mini tutorial on something that may be common knowledge, but sharing for those who don't know:
You can export full skeletons from TexTools, which can give you access to additional bones for hairstyle mashups.

OKAY.. This is a very quick guide on how to make easy toggles to your mods. You do need some knowledge of mod creation, blender and textools to do this.
