Speaking from vast experience, it's really easy for a civilian populace to get armed with nonlethal weapons even in gun control states. And it's legal to conceal them.

If I were @brianfejer4abq.bsky.social, I would announce that I am removing myself from the running, getting behind a more senior candidate, and express exactly why I am supporting him or her.

Humility is a good place to start for unknown candidates' reputations in the inevitable post-MAGA future.
