I try and avoid political posts because… well… *gestures*, but I am *still* seeing posts from Americans talking about stuff that the “next president” will have to clean up after “the next election” and it blows my mind that even despite… well… *gestures*, they still think there’ll be one.

Reasons I Wouldn’t Survive an Apocalypse:

1. My survival plan relies heavily on electricity.
2. I would keep saying, “This feels illegal.”
3.I can’t tell which mushrooms are food and which are a fun way to meet my ancestors.
4.I’d die doing something noble and unnecessary.

One year ago today, Gemma and I went to our local nature center for a hike. Instead of hiking, I found myself chasing a little black-and-white ball of fur through the stickers. He was just barely a pound and filthy! He’s now about 10# and answers to Kevin. He’s a pain but we’re glad to have him! ❤️
