i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.

It's supposed to be connected to the challenge of scheduling interpreters or note takers for those classes. Any extra calendar time to find the people (or in the best case, the right people) is much appreciated. I think I only got 3 semesters of early registration, but did get interpreters for all.
