Raw slices sprinkled with salt, for me. But then, anything with salt is grand; radish, cucumber, tomatoes…

Good strategy!
So far I have only planted cold resistant seedlings and seeds, and they are on my sunny porch. They did great after snowmelt.

2x2 raised growing box on the porch, covered with snow. Few leeks are sticking out. 2-3 inches of snow on the porch, railing, the trees and the roof of an old wooden house down below.

I am serious about #growing. There is lettuce under this snow in the container and brave leeks are poking out.
