Opinion: Oregon legislators must reject Trump tax giveaways The tax cuts included in the One Big Beautiful Bill will cost Oregon nearly $900 million in revenue over the current biennium and primarily benefit corporations and the wealthy, write Annie Naranjo-Rivera and Jody Wiser. Oregon legislators should disconnect the state from federal tax code and ensure that taxpayers can't double dip on the giveaways on their state tax returns as well as federal.

While can’t do much about what’s happening in Washington, DC, we can act here in Salem.
It’s time for our elected leaders to reject the Trump tax giveaways, end corporate subsidy programs, & make corporations & wealthy individuals pay their fair share.
