This is just wrong. It's still a great paper (as of today). The opinion pages have been a bore (or boorish) for a while.

Neither the Fraternal Order of Police nor the National Police Association has criticized Trump's pardon of the Jan 6 rioters. They HAVE supported the legislation to deport non-citizens who assault police officers.
