make no mistake, I’m still very slow when it comes to art. I often compare myself to other artists, and see that they’re much faster than I am. it can be quite rough… but then I remember how slow I was just two years ago, and how much I have improved over time. so don’t give up!

I only managed to thumbnail about 30 pages, but the comic was going to be about 120 pages long. back then it would take me one day, sometimes two, just to *thumbnail* a single page. needless to say, the project was way too big for my skill level and speed, so I had to scrap it.

during the past 5 years, I drew a lot of things, most of which I never finished. here’s some character refs from a couple years ago for a comic I was working on at the time. I still like how these came out! maybe I should draw the raccoon girl again one day…?
