I think making it a competitive format was fine they focused on having it be the format where you're allowed to play chane and starvo rather than actually focusing on making it fun or interesting to play

#fabtcg Sage is pretty cool but it does make me wish they'd tried some of those systems for LL it would be nice to see the hero benching in a format with actual fun gameplay

Yeah I realised quite quickly the best way to do these events was to only do a couple of side events a day or one main

Haven't checked but it may actually be the one in Canada

My closest one is currently on another continent

Yeah I know I'm just saying a few other shops that could run them

I can definitely think of a few other stores I've been to that could seat 100+ people. Patriot Sheffield has 120ish seats in the main room and Fanboy in Manchester has a huge play space downstairs but I don't know exactly what the capacity is

I've never had a bad time at a big fab weekend event and would really recommend it to anyone who isn't sure about going

Mine isn't but it is kind of the end point of a midrange value meta the same thing happened at the end of Hvy it's why I was always so surprised when people wanted Hvy meta back.

Won my #fabtcg RTN yesterday with marionette my only loss was @bowlful.bsky.social on victor (test of iron grip is one hell of a card) I was a little worried I wouldn't qualify this year going into the event because this was the only RTN I could play and I'd only had 9 days playing the hero

I hope she solves this mystery

No idea I played the verdance matchup the other week and that felt impossible

Kayo - managed to rip 2 bloodrushes off her turn 1 and it was pretty much over from there
Fang - 0AB and kept them offline until they were at 1
Marionette - he put me to 20 on his second turn but managed to out value him for the rest of the game
