Back in 2011 I didn't have a tablet or the means to scan traditional drawings into the computer, so I went for the next best thing! I had learned how to use Flash to make art, and I was having so much fun with it, I went as far as to experiment with lineless art! The Idea I had for this piece was Azura using her claws to manipulate water around her, or simply generate waves of liquid energy to throw at enemies. Ofc because all of it is in the same color, it ended up not looking the way I envisioned, lol, also I was terrible at backgrounds so I would just make them transparent PNGs Despite everything, this is the happiest I had been with robot monkey art!

So what gave me the idea to make Azura into a fish/sea monkey was that in one episode of srmthfg they had gone into an undersea adventure, as they descended they spotted sea monkeys, and that gave me the idea! Azura used to live in an underwater city before getting captured and turned into a robot monkey, her hands turn into liquid energy and she controls how sharp or "watery" they are, hence the neon glow. For this remake I felt it would be best to remove the attempts at a water attack and just make it a good old fashioned action lunge, with the added effect for the claws of course! I'd say I'm quite happy with the results! She's usually calm and collected, but in battle she will look annoyed, like any threat to her is more of an inconvenience to her research. I should do more robot monkey art, specially of her!

Remaking really old art is turning out to be a lot more fun, so here's another one!

Ages ago I made this pic, it was meant to be a new look for my main robot monkey OC, but as a friend and I took a closer look, we turned it into its own character, and next thing we know, Coraline was born. https://www.deviantart.com/roler42/art/Midnight-music-278286742 This is a remake of that pic, now with actual knowledge on how to do posing, lighting, and even background! You have no idea how much I used to struggle to make backgrounds... I'm still ways to go, but i'm getting there! Coraline is checking her phone waiting for her new bodyguard to arrive before her midnight shift at her nightclub, he better be stronger than the last one, she does have enemies!

Now that Coraline has a proper new look, I thought it'd be cool to remake the first artwork I ever made of her!

So... In the opening of the first game, Spark says he lost his job, I always mandela'd myself into thinking he was a TV host, the game never specifies, lol. Either way! Since he's quite literally "The Electric Jester" and the opening cutscene depicts him using his powers to put on a show, why not have fun with the idea? So what I did here was have Spark doing his electric show, guiding the electricity in very fun showy ways! As I'm making these, I wanted to go the extra mile, so I drew the background in pixel style and combine it with Spark's more regular style, and then throw in ambience light as an extra bonus! The funny side effect of working on this is that now I've learned how to make cool looking electricity, lol, I spent like an hour on that alone. All in all, I am quite happy with how this one turned out! I still want to do one more for his Super Form, and one little bonus I want to have fun with, I hope y'all like this!

Of all the Spark fanart, I should have probably started here, with his base form, lol, oh well.

I'm specially proud of this one in particular!
