There's a very big difference between me and my dad (besides the fact he's above average height and I'm below)...

The beauty of only having experience with one form for now in my case. That, and I can't fathom a way I'd get to play IRL long term due to my own personal situation. So instead I ask friends who do play offline to have extra fun for me xD

I never got to play offline, though a few of my online friends I play with and I have discussed getting together to go camping in a cabin one weekend and just play DnD there the whole time xD Gonna have to triangulate a good camping ground between Texas, Virginia and New Jersey.

I'm gonna blame whoever thought thanksgiving meal flavored oreos was a good idea... assuming that article I read about it was legitimate.

Doing some minor #gamedev planning while waiting on a call from a friend. I'm just fleshing out my lists of things I want to include, including non-magic skills for the different classes/characters. Been trying to come up with creative buff/debuff skills and spells and think I got a few good ones!

Don't you love when friends give you ideas without meaning to? My friend was jokingly giving me ideas of how to 'battle for my honor' when someone corrected my word usage. Now trying to figure out if I can use any of them as mini games/plot points for #gamedev!

I was using my translation app with my aide and finally noticed that in Spanish, 'Soy' means 'I am'.

So now I think the term soybean is funny because it's just saying 'I am bean'.

Not feeling great today so most of my #gamedev is brainstorming. I started a list of puzzle ideas to include because I love puzzles and also inspiration just happened to strike.

...Idea involves a clock. I blame daylight savings (even though the game includes a lot of 'time' symbolism anyway).

I was wanting to get the mapping method figured out, but since it's taking a lot more brain power for me to figure out than I anticipated with all the helpful stuff I have... I might switch gears and just intermittently do tiny bits of trying while I work on things like the database and whatnot.

Maybe I'll make maps without Tiled for now just to get a general idea of areas and stuff. There's already plenty to do without Tiled stuff anyway.

Trying to do some #gamedev by learning Tiled with a mix of documentation, a video for using it with RPGMaker, and my wits that apparently don't exist. I am so confused... Maybe I should work on this later on. -.-

Somehow, my #gamedev for this month is starting off with something I'm used to doing for my writing: researching weird things I feel are necessary to make things feel more cohesive... Like plants that grow in certain biomes to help name medicinal items and such. -.-
