yeah yugioh has like "really hard to read" text but you can infer the full effect from the text alone given enough time

it really does feel like it's very cool to play once you learn but the whole Go Again thing is bizzare

Dungar is a weird card and idk how it adapts to the meta shift

imagine caring about optimizing your decklists while there's some asshole out there going undefeated with Nordormu in their deck

i really don't like what they did to Greatsword and Hunting Horn on sunbreak

i really like the way they made Longsword interesting (sacred sheath is pure dopamine, and after they buffed Harvest Moon to not go away on sheath it opened up to be way more flexible)

im playing thru monster hunter rise/sunbreak again and i got a really funny screenshot

oh im pretty sure the only deck that runs TNT is fizzle warrior itself

but yeah against most Fizzle setups it just comes down to my lategame holding off their lategame for so long that eventually Kill'jaeden just bullshits a win

or they die to my starship saying "spellburst: fill board with 10 drops, deathrattle: do it again"

oh TNT doesn't matter bc against all the fizzle decks you just get to Kill'jaeden every time
in my last 10 games against warrior i don't think ive seen a single Boomboss do more than be a 7/7

but like for the majority of cases, Fizzle Setups are basically just "ok if i play Ceaseless every turn i should just win" which is super beatable

or like if their snapshot includes Yogg it's pretty fucked bc there's nothing that beats A Bunch Of Ceaseless's AND Also Multiple Yoggs

but then there's weird Fizzle setups where like, rogue smuggles Griftah stuff into the the snapshot, and then you can just die to direct damage

or warrior can like, smuggle 5+ wipes and 3+ Hydration Station while they also have Killjaiden, which just beats your own killjaiden setup

ok so the nebulous concept of Fizzle Setups is really weird and varies a lot

if the thing they're doing is Play Ceaseless Every Turn, that's beatable with starship deathrattle and kill'jaeden

if they are doing less than "one Ceaseless per turn" it's pretty free

first MTG ... now dark souls .... soon, every tolkien-inspired fantasy IP will become their own version of fortnite

- rapidly encroaching blue perimeter that tinges the soil
- co-op gameplay
- gliding over the landscape
- ransacking the realm for gear

Rogue is just allowed to summon three 8/8s on turn 5 for some reason

but what the current meta demands is:

- not dying to Bloodlust on 6
- being able to play the game vs Hydration Station decks
- solving this boardstate

one is neutral, the other requires you to cut like 60% of the good DK cards to run

Frost Nova is an unbelievably fucked up card to have in 2024

every other legendary is either a neutral staple (Zilliax, Ceaseless) or a free legendary

only epic is Guiding Figure

it wouldn't surprise me if it's under 1000 dust for the vast majority of players

it's really weird to deckbuild in this meta bc whats actually S Tier Gigabroken is Cycle Rogue and Swarm Shaman, but here in top 200 people are so fucking tired of playing those decks that like 80% of my matchups are Hydration Station and/or Ceaseless decks
