US involvement in the Middle East spiraling out of control? I feel like we’re all “people familiar with the situation.”

I know a lot of people say to not use a stand mixer to do the kneading, but unless you’re trying to open an artisan bakery or something, my understanding is that a kitchen aid and a dough hook it just fine.

My immediate thought is not enough kneading. I generally use a bread machine like a heathen though. You might also double-check your yeast. We used to buy it in the jars because we used a ton and I found once that it was actually expired.
