Sif showed a concerned expression. While she had given them privacy, she was pacing the floor until the healer came over.

She nodded then walked back to Loki.

"You will be fine, but you need rest. You will do so in my chambers so I can keep an eye on you."

Sif could see the relief in his features and smiled, then cut her eyes.

"I wish he would try. He has no say so whatsoever I do — or who I do it with."

She wanders off a bit ad they speak, not wanting to hear anything he didn't want her to.

《《 She steps back to give him a bit of privacy as he speaks to the healer, though she was curious to know what happened.

Sif takes a shaky breath, trying to get her words out before the healer got closer.

"I've never hated you either, Loki. I do believe you and I could have created something wonderful had I not been blinded by Thor."

She pauses then smiles.

"Perhaps, we can build that now." 》》

"It's quite alright, Loki. I had no idea that the thought of Thor and I being a couple bothered you so."

Indeed, she thought he truly hated her.

"Well, let's get you healed and cleaned up first, then we can start on this new abd bright future."

She steps back as the healer approaches.

She sits next to him, allowing him to lean on her. A deep and drawn out sigh leaves her.

"No. It was him who did nor desire me. He wanted his mortal."

She chuckles. "I'm no longer concerned with the prank. It is done. We should move on to more pleasant endeavors now, after you're healed."

"You weren't just back-up. You were instrumental several times." He should be proud of that.

Her demeanor changes to soft as she sits him down and awaits on Eir to tend to him.

"I was in love with your brother, Loki. Unfortunately, he did not share those emotions and cast me off."

"Indeed. Truth be told, I've always admired your magic. It was useful when brute force failed."

She chuckled then led him through the front door of the palace, pausing at his words.

"Jealous? Why?"

Sif sighs deeply, continuing to steady him as they drawer nearer to the palace.

"I know you are a trickster. It was to be expected, but thank you for the apology. That means a lot."

She called for guards to help.

"I wasn't very kind to you either, if I tell the truth."

Sif nods and links her arm with him to keep him steady.

The journey to the palace was quiet, until Loki asked if she was still angry with him.

"I want to be if I'm being honest, simply because I couldn't understand why you did it."

She sighs.

"But no. I'm not angry. I'm worried for you."
