Worth acknowledging how the dude is cool as a cucumber in the security footage. His pistol jams more than once and he clears it like it's no biggie, finishes the job, and then just saunters off into the night. *could* be a hired hit, but who knows.

I bet, and it's telling that this is the popular assumption. Just heard a story about a doctor doing some guy's life-saving heart surgery for free because UH refused to cover it.

When the ruling class pushes people far enough, I guess they shouldn't act surprised when the guillotines roll out.

Totally agree, although I imagine there’s a broader collective harm that will affect established writers too - if nothing else in the way corporate entities continue to prioritize and push this technology.

I think Jordan Peele described first drafts as putting sand in a box, then later drafts are building a sand castle out of it. It’s something I try to keep in mind with every script now.
