Cue the new fire chief who has been getting on Soap's case showing up in his home to take all the explosive material away and seeing those damn kids living in filth.

And well, Ghost has been working as a "put the house in order" type of guy for years now. Sure, it uses to be firehouse brigades,

chores to their load! He won't let his siblings lose even more of their childhood!

The only moment his siblings smile for real is when Soap brings out the fireworks and takes them to open field to create stars...

Feed everyone, and manage his parents' finance, and look for a job, and help with homework...

He also doesn't want to add to the little ones' suffering. They're all griefing bad, the 13yo sister is acting out with rage, the littlest boy is a shell of himself. Soap can't add

The dishes pile on the sink, half of their clothes are dirty and the other half is waiting for them in the clothesline stained. His parents' home that used to be a beautiful, idillic place now is basically a pigsty.

Soap struggling BAD with keeping the home in order and caring for his siblings.

He left home for the army at 17 and his parents always handled everything before. He doesn't know how to cook, how to do laundry, how to watch over 4 kids ages 6 to 16.

Who doesn't think a fucking brat with more firepower than years he's known how to wipe his own ass is a good idea? Ghost. The whole bloody village may look away from that punk's arsonist tendencies, but he won't.

And dealing with having to abandon all his ambitions, so the whole town is honestly feeling sorry for the lad. Which means the local police doesn't even mind checking when they see some fireworks exploding way too close to the fields. It terrifies the sheep but it's overall harmless.
