Happy belated birthday! I made you this sf-adventure.com/WriterCalend... It takes any day in the Common Era, converts it to the calendars you're most likely to need, gives you the day of the week, the moon phase, and the next expected new/full moon.

Based on bsky.app/profile/kjch... I have a great idea - spreadsheets for writers. Any interested writer may send me a list of dates and what they care about (day of the week? how many days until Catholic Easter? moon phase?) and get a spreadsheet with answers. I'll take payment in signed books :).

You're going to laugh, but there's a pre-built template for that docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

I just use the text function for those. And yes, I did forget that not everyone has at least one spreadsheet open at all times, but opening one and typing =text("dd/mm/yy", "DDDD") is way faster than buying a mac :)

It only takes a second or two to check on anything those days, because you can just use the weekday() function in Google Sheets.

That's what I do. When I really don't feel like writing about a particular locations/person I ask AI to do it, read the result, get angry, and do the thing right.

It can't be morally wrong to claim something. It can be morally wrong to actually own the body of another sentient being unless the being has freely consented to this and can easily withdraw consent at any time or is no longer capable of using the body in any way (e. g. is dead).

I don't know about you, but when I do coding on my own it's 33% debugging, and debugging is hell by definition. By comparison 1% hell rate is great. Which is only one of the reasons why Cursor is the best piece of software to ever happen to me, bar none.
