Full Committee Hearing to Examine the Section 106 Consultation Process Under the National Historic Preservation Act

So much wasn't done before demolition of the White House East Wing began. Next week the Senate is holding a hearing on the main process, Section 106, that protects heritage across the country. I think we should expect they're not looking to strengthen it.

I’ve only heard it in Va. I learned the term working at Mount Vernon in the early 2000s. I think it might even be specific to the VA historical sites, especially Presidential houses.

May I not humbly offer “Mothering and Archaeology:
Past and Present Perspectives” edited by myself and Suzanne Spencer-Wood. Suzanne’s commentary chapter is basically a summary of feminist theorizing about mothering. And she made us add theory to most chapters whether we (ok,me) liked it or not.

I thought we all agreed Idris Elba needs to be the next Bond. 🤦‍♀️

Because eliminating entire professions and making us unemployed is super good for the economy.
