Mike Sekowsky with a model that’s helping with his redesign of Wonder Woman.
Four covers he worked on: Marvel Mystery Comics #92 (1949), featuring the Human Torch and Toro on the cover; The Brave and the Bold #28 (1960), featuring the first appearance of the Justice League of America; Strange Adventures #206 (1967), featuring Deadman; and Wonder Woman #178 (1968), featuring the first appearance of a powerless Wonder Woman from the famous storyline by Denny O’Neil & Sekowsky.
Today is the birthday of artist Mike Sekowsky (Nov. 19, 1923-March 30, 1989). Most known for his work on Justice League and Wonder Woman.
