...a 3 minute time period. They've been waiting hours for the public commenting period to begin and now they're going to cut everyone's time?! This is outrageous.

Today many advocates who support the updated standards showed up for the final public commenting period. And they're reducing the amount of time for speakers from 3 minutes to 1!

Speakers had to arrive in Lansing early this morning to submit comments in advance. People prepared remarks expecting..

Michigan's State Board of Education will be voting today on whether to update their sex ed standards for the first time in decades. Obviously the religious right has been campaigning against it and they attended the last session of public comments.

Idk maybe your technique sucks if multiple women consistently have this issue?! I imagine most women who have a mammogram because their doctor identified an actual lump have good reason to be freaked?

For my 6 month follow up I scheduled at a different office and the staff were so much nicer.

I had to have an early mammogram (I'm only in my 30s) last year because I found a lump. When I went in I ended up getting light headed and almost passing out. The tech was SO RUDE. I'd made sure to eat before because I was worried about it. "Idk why all you young girls have such a problem!"

Husband is gone for the night. Debating if I should make dinner or goblin out and get myself a personal pizza...
