Sad to see the Ides of March becoming commercialised like this. I really feel like we're losing track of the true spirit of the holiday. It's not about how many knives you can stick in a tyrant all at once, it's about the whole community coming together to stab the tyrant as many times as possible.

I haven't done a lot of "fun" drawings, despite being told to split a lot of my work doing so, but I want to learn how to get confident with the work so I can put down the stuff I have in my head and I have limited time and energy for this stuff. For now, I'm happy just working through the grind.

I've been sick the last few days, so I've been taking an art break. I plan on getting back to it tomorrow with gesture work.

I have RE0, but I don't think I can bring myself to play that game right now. LOL

I'd love to see it get a proper remake, though. Same goes for Code Veronica. It almost feels like a good opportunity to package them together.

I didn't pick up RE4's remake for a number of reasons, but mostly because it felt too soon to be playing a remake of RE4 to me. I was almost put off by it just... existing.

But I'm going to play through the original first and then play the remake to experience both games back to back.

Notably, I never played the RE3 and RE4 remakes. I skipped the RE3 remake for a while because I didn't even like the original game. I'm not sure what the consensus is on the remake, but I'll see what I think about it when I replay it.

Completed Resident Evil 1. I'll be playing the RE2 remake next. It's my goal to play through all of the numbered games again this year before finally playing Requiem.

I had to kill Yawn with a knife because I ran out of ammo.

I'm finally getting my sealegs back under me and getting close to the end of the game, but I'm still getting bodied by the camera sometimes. It's such a funny game.

I'm at work 5 hours after staying up until 2 am playing REmake and I have no regrets about it.

i'm not currently organizing fgc events anymore.

i traded that in for organizing in general, and i am very happy i did.

without the time i've spent learning how to organize politically and locally, i would not have been able to help rally media attention for my friend and community member.
