So condescending, so wrong on the facts! ACC Commissioner Lopez doesn't know or care about any of the details of Project Blue, how it moved through our local government, or even about its water use. He tried to use his dais to demean and embarrass his constituents, and ended up embarrassing himself.

What we learned/confirmed yesterday: TEP customers are paying for the power that TEP will supply to Beale. Beale doesn’t have a customer lined up, so if they build this thing it will be empty. Beale will need backup power, and this may come from diesel, which is polluting and harmful.

Beale seems to have no confirmed customer. What does “negotiating with Meta” even mean? Why have they given us a literal Christmas deadline to close the sale? It’s like they’re pursuing this out of spite because our community united against them!
