Himalayan foothills

A coloured image of a Pictish standing stone from Glenferness near Nairn. It was created by photogrammetry technique which combines various 3d images of a surface for better clarity. The image contains a number of typical Pictish symbols such as the crescent, the v-rod, double disk and other possibly human figures.

Those were the days when you could get access to sold out gigs by giving the bouncer £2 cash. There must have been hundreds over the safety limit that night!

I was at that gig. I can still remember watching Bowie just offstage waiting for the screams to reach a peak before he made an entrance.
