i was only in his server for 2 weeks, incredibly gross experience. needless to say, if someone is giving you bad vibes, listen to your gut! reach out to others! people like this are able to slink into the shadows and restart when no one speaks up

I want to add one thing before I go to bed for the night:

If you see all the artists who say Cam never paid them. Commission them if you can. Share their commissions. Support them. Most of them only make money from art and no one should go without pay

All things considered, I kinda got out on the better end of his bullshit, mostly because I wasn’t there for very long, but it makes me physically sick seeing what he put everyone else through. At least we’re not alone, though, huh?

I’m an anxious person. Im working on being mean and speaking up. But as you can imagine, I talk myself out of conflict a lotttttt of the time. I wish I had challenged this stuff. I almost burnt myself out making character art for that server. I should’ve demanded money for them or something I dunno

My story never went anywhere, love interests were introduced, I’m not kidding, by groping my pcs. There were unnecessary sexual descriptions left and right. AND KIT STILL NEVER GOT CORRECTLY GENDERED
The entire time. I kept telling myself ‘well I don’t know better than he does, so maybe it’s fine.’

One of my characters was like centuries old dragon. The love interest he chose was. Like a 30 year old woman my character most definitely watched grow up? And.. that npc’s sister was dating… my chara’s kid…? It wigged me out but I had no idea what’s normal in this environment

First red flag was him never using my character’s correct pronouns. I psyched myself out of saying anything because he was evidently playing like 57 npcs (literally didn’t have to btw). But literally never. Not once. Did he use the correct prns or terms.
And then he started establishing romance

My experience with DayLITE started with a dm on TikTok, Cam invited me to his rp server. I believe this was pre-Lexapro, and I have a lot of anxiety (this is relevant later) so it took me a long time to get back to him, but eventually, I did! Because I wanted to get back into roleplaying. Lord

I will also share my side of things about DayLITE because I got used for my art and got nothing in return (as I have said in another post from before, I only received 8 dollars for all the art I've done)

I’ve met some of the coolest, nicest artists in the Draighold server and I love that we’ve made a little community together, but it breaks my heart HOW we had to come to this. Fictional characters and roleplaying is NOT even remotely an excuse to be exploitative and gross

I feel like I wasted my own time making shit for a gross pervert for free. Fuck the creator of DayLITE.

TikTok’s removed my friend @meltedvinyls.bsky.social ability to post and comment after they’ve spoken out about 🧊, and when I try to post on their behalf, the posts all get put under review and have yet to be released. Jer’s on YouTube in the meantime, same user, please go give some support
