The NATO EPWG “Panels Away” meeting took place June 10–12 at the Officers' Mess in Ottawa, hosted by the Canadian National Defence. Over 20 delegates gathered to advance work on doctrine, training, terminology, and the climate-security nexus.

Over 30 civilian & military participants from NATO & partner nations joined 4 days of sessions on climate, geopolitics & defence.
The NATO Climate Change and Security Centre of Excellence celebrated its official opening on Oct 30, 2024!
Representatives from sponsoring nations gathered to mark this milestone, reaffirming the 12 Sponsoring Nations commitment to address the security implications of climate change.
