Ha, I’m heading to Florence on Wednesday. Any specific recommendations?

I’m at KubeCon this week, and happy to chat with people about Pkl: pkl-lang.org
I also have a bunch of these lovely metal pins if you’re interested.

The stamina of some of these Geordies is incredible. They’re still going in London, celebrating their cup win from Sunday.

Haven’t skateboarded for two decades. Still got it. Grateful for wrist guards.

The stand I got was the Joby GorillaPod. I can use it with a camera, but got a phone mount add-on.

It barely qualifies as “tech”: Step On bindings for my snowboard. I no longer waste time at the top of the mountain having to bind in — I’m as quick out of the lifts as my skier friends/family.
Otherwise getting a nice phone mount and using my smartwatch to take group family photos 👌

I wish people would post more links to interesting things
I feel like Twitter and LinkedIn and Instagram and TikTok have pushed a lot of people out of the habit of doing that, by penalizing shared links in the various "algorithms"
Bluesky doesn't have that misfeature, thankfully!
